“This calming and meditative piece was completed in France at Chateau Orquevaux, a woman taking a moment to appreciate the beauty of a small lily pond. While at the Chateau, I was moved by the soft and enveloping landscape that was like something out of a fairy tale storybook, which inspired the feel of this piece. I also intentionally kept this piece monochromatic with small accents of color to focus the eye.”
