“In this piece I explore mind-body duality symbolically. The lower figure riding the Pegasus wearing the green garb represents physicality and earthiness. She rides through the wings of her imagination to meet her spirit, represented by a Greek goddess like figure seated on a cloud, reaching down to meet her. Each figure has the alchemical symbols for air and earth hovering above her. In the center, where their hands are about to meet, is the circle, a symbol of wholeness.”
