My name is Jessica Libor, and I am a classically trained artist from the Philadelphia, PA area. Trained both at the Florence Academy of Art in Italy and the Grand Central Atelier in NYC, I also attended the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts, graduating with my Master of Fine Arts in 2014. Since then, my work has garnered many awards and hung in multiple museums, galleries, and private collections across the USA and France, as well as been featured on PBS and countless publications. My gallery focused artwork is all about the female heroine with a special skill set around painting elegant fabrics and dresses, and beautiful, enchanting landscapes. This translates effortlessly in my passion for capturing you, the blushing bride, in all of your beauty and the love you share with your partner.

You can be confident in my ability to capture the space of your event realistically, as well as placing figures and recognizable likenesses in my work. I take pride in crafting each individual piece to capture the unique personalities of each couple and individual, working closely with clients to achieve the desired result: a timeless, heirloom artistic keepsake to pass on for generations to come.

So how does it work? Step one is to book a consultation call, where we meet over Zoom and chat about your love story, what you might want captured in your painting, and any special details you want me to include in the art. From there, you decide on a size that works best for you, and after a deposit, your date is locked in!

I work closely with the venue and the couple to make sure I am in an appropriate place that works for your wedding. I typically need about a 6 ft by 6 ft space and access to an electric outlet for my painting light, and I do have insurance for the venue. I arrive several hours before the reception to begin the painting process! That way, when guests arrive there is something there already in progress. Throughout the wedding, I am friendly and engaging to guests as they come up to watch me create, and am happy to explain the process and how I do it! At the end of the evening, the painting is typically finished and ready to be delivered. If it is not finished, I will take it home and complete it in my studio, and ship it to you within 2 weeks.
